- Mixed with DIN 128: DIN 128 is split; DIN 137 is a solid ring.
FAQ
What is DIN 137?
A solid (unsplit) spring washer: form A is curved, form B is waved. This chart is form B.
Is form A charted?
No. Only one source with a readable form A table was found, so it is not charted.
Why is the M6 thickness blank?
Sources disagree: fasteners.eu, Westfield and Spinelli give 0.5 mm; the Mirimpex sheet gives 0.8 mm.
Why is the M10 OD blank?
Sources disagree: 21 mm in most tables, 18 mm in the Mirimpex sheet.
Why is the M22 thickness blank?
Sources disagree: 1.8 mm in most tables, 1.5 mm in the Spinelli sheet.
DIN 137 vs DIN 6796?
DIN 137 B is a thin waved washer for light preload; DIN 6796 is a thick hardened cone for bolted joints.
What was skipped?
Form A, M36, weights, tolerance limits and the cells noted above.
