FAQ
What is DIN 466?
The tall knurled thumb nut. It has a knurled head on a long collar and gives more thread engagement than DIN 467.
What is the difference from DIN 467?
The knurl dk, collar ds and knurl height k are the same. Only the overall height h is greater.
Why is M12 not charted?
Only Ganter lists M12 (40/22/25/10), and that size is outside the DIN.
Why not M1 to M1.6?
Only one table lists those sizes.
Tolerances?
The min values come from one table only, so the chart shows nominal (max) values.
